Bibatanko, whose real name is Bibiche Tankama N'sel, born in Lubumbashi on September 5, 1981, is a Congolese writer (DRC). The youngest of a family of seven children, she actually got involved in the field of writing at the end of her graduate studies in Industrial Electronics in 2005. She evolved and nourished her passion for art in her family thanks to the influence of her painter and poet father, and through a collective of writers and free thinkers, the Libr'crire, which she coordinates. She is the author of poems, short stories and plays. In 2019, she published her first collection of poetry "EVEIL". During the month of June 2021, she partook in a theater writing residency, at the house of authors of the Francophonies from writing to the stage, in the city of Limoges (France). While waiting for the presentation of her play at the Festival of Francophones of writings on the Spring stage of the year 2022, she has embarked on the animation of written and oral expression workshops with young people. In December 2021, she made a collective publication with a Lushois author for young people "TALES AND FABLES FOR CHILDREN" as part of the YACK collective that she co-produces, which aims to promote French literature. She is currently working in the coordination team of Ateliers Picha where she does communication and coordination work.
