Nilla Banguna (reception of artists at Picha)

Nilla Banguna is a pattern maker, stylist and textile designer born in Lubumbashi in 1990. She entered the fashion scene in 2016 with the opening of Lubumbashi Fashion Week alongside Sikasso Kazadi. In 2017, she was trained in aesthetics, fabric making and textile design at the Urafiki Textile Industry in Tanzania. Graduated in model making (Bac+3), Nilla also holds a bachelor's degree (Bac+5) in textile design, styling and fashion creation from the Institut Supérieur des Arts et Métiers (ISAM/Marie Auxiliatrice). Initiator and owner of the MusNilla fashion brand, MusNilla tea recipes and the MusNilla catalogue, she is currently an assistant and lecturer at ISAM/Bon Berger.
